After:
two words: dark and gloomy. thats what i thought every time i opened my front door to walk into my house. all the different kinds of wood and missing baseboards were awful. but, a few coats of paint and the most intense primer ever and the hallway is nice, clean, and welcoming now. i couldn't be happier! and the wood flooring doesn't look that bad!
